Together is power

Since 2005,many crafts people came to the markets to sell their products no matter if they are professional or not, but at a market anybody can sell.
Now, many artists go to the department stores to sell their products with other creators, because it can help them pay their rent.

In Taiwan, department stores are a more expensive place to buy things. It means the product's construction is better and the price is also higher. Now, crafts people go to the department stores to sell their products. It means their products are more better and the customer can buy their products more easily.

It's good news.The bussiness model has changed. Creators will not be alone. They can get together to share the rent for the retail space. Even though the department store is more expensive and complicated. They also have a common goal. The group will intergrate 4 or 5 brands to sell in the department stores. I think this process is a good way to encourage the independ crafts people to participate in their business model.

The first step is street market, the second step is getting into the department store, and the third is ...? We will see!
